Chief executive of Institute of Siberia, GR and PR consultant, assistant to a Member of Parliament at State Duma (Parliament of Russia).
She holds a degree in history from Saint Petersburg State University
and in International Relations and Affairs from Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs
Popova worked on probation in the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs
in the Department of new Challenges and threats, specialized in counter-terrorism.
In 2011 she became assistant to a Member of Parliament at State Duma
and expert on the Middle East in the Committee for Foreign Affairs at State Duma.
After the elections of State Duma in 2011 Popova continued her activity as assiastant to a Member of Parliament at State Duma.
July 2013 she was the campaign manager of one of the candidates during the elections of mayor of Moscow.
November 2013 - April 2014 she is taking part at the elections of mayor of Novosibirsk
also as the campaign manager of the candidate from opposition.
Participant of the Revenue Watch Institute conferences and trainings.
She has been an active participant
of the Doha Meetings (Enriching the Middle East Economic Future) and CMED conferences since 2013.
May 2014 Anastasia Popova became cheif executive of the Institute of Siberia, research and development institute of the region.

Anastasia Popova, Frontkorrespondentin des russischen Fernsehkanals Rossija,
hat in Syrien unter feindlichem Beschuss “Mut zur Wahrheit” bewiesen.
In Leipzig stellte sie ihren Film “Syrisches Tagebuch”
erstmals öffentlich auf deutsch vor.
